What type of things do you remove?
We will remove most types of junk or rubbish provided it can be lifted by two people. Examples include:
- Construction or Building - drywall, crates, glass, concrete, metal, tiles, carpet, mirrors, asphalt, rubble, etc…
- Scrap Metal – cars, bikes, copper, steel, appliances, TV, radio, fridge, freezer, washer, dryer, oven, microwave, stereo, snow-blower, lawn mower, BBQ, etc…
- Furniture – table, desk, chair, filing cabinet, cupboard, chest, sofa, sofa-bed, mattress, armchair, etc…
- Wood – shed, gate, flooring, firewood, fencing, plywood, lumber, pallets, doors, etc…
- E-waste- computers, monitors, printers, fax machines, cellular phones, laptops etc…
- Storage and General - boxes, tools, clothes, kitchen utensils, electrics, files, paper, newspapers, cans, bottles, garbage, tires, vehicle batteries, etc…
- Garden – leaves, twigs, branches, grass, soil, dirt, sod, compost, turf, etc…
We cannot remove hazardous items, paint cans full of paint, toxic chemicals, solvents, motor oils, asbestos, biological waste or any other toxic substances. If you are unsure about whether your junk is hazardous or not, please call us toll free for clarification whether we can collect it or not.

Why can't you take hazardous materials?
We are not insured to carry hazardous materials. These are usually unsafe to handle, transport or dispose of in the normal manner.

Are you insured to do this work?
Yes. Our trucks and drivers are fully insured for residential and commercial junk removal.

Can you move my things from one room to another for me?
Yes. We can dispose of items you no longer need and move other items you have around for you. If you are moving items between locations we can assist. Please request this when making your booking and also when your junk removal team first arrives.

How is pricing calculated?
We charge by volume depending on how much space your junk takes up on our trucks. However if your junk is particularly heavy (e.g. sod or cement) we charge based on weight, using our bed loader prices. (see bed loader rates link HERE)

Why can't you give me an exact price over the phone?
Pricing is based on the amount of space your junk takes up in our trucks. We can give you a guideline estimate over the phone, but the final price can only be determined once our teams see exactly the items to be removed. You are not obligated to proceed if you don’t like the price.

How much notice do you require?
Most junk removals can be arranged the same day. However try to give us as much notice as possible to ensure your junk removal can be scheduled for a time most convenient to you. We are available 7 days a week, 7am-7pm, year round.

Why are appointments booked in two-hour windows?
The 2 hour junk removal window allows for transportation, loading and recycling of your items.

Do I have to be at the property to have the job done?
No. Provided we can access your junk, our teams will call you from the location to confirm pricing and arrange billing.

Can you do the job outside ordinary business hours?
Yes. Our hours of operation are design to accommodate a variety of busy schedules. If you require a pick-up outside ordinary business hours, let us know and we will try our best to accommodate your needs. Our junk removal service is available 7 days a week 7am-7pm, year round.

How big are your trucks?
We have the largest trucks in the industry. Our trucks are 40% larger than our competitiors. If you need a whole estate clearing, we will often make multiple trips or use multiple trucks.

What do you do with the junk?
We are proud to say that 50% of our loads are recycled and we are striving to improve every day. Although we are not a charitable organization, we do work with a variety of charities to strengthen our communities through donatables. The remainder of material is taken to transfer facilities.

Why not rent a bin?
Simply, we do it all. Our uniform crews do all of the loading. Unlike renting a bin your price includes all the lifting, weight charges and associated disposal cost. You only pay for the space that your junk takes up in our trucks, as opposed to paying for a full bin regardless of how much you fill it. As part of our service your junk removal can be done the same day and there is no bin that sits in your driveway for days on end.
